    In the tradition of previous meetings held in White Point (2006), Vancouver

    (2004), Como (2000), Coimbra (1999), Vancouver (1997), Halifax (1995),

    Tours (1994), Isle of Thorns (1992), Montreal (1991) and Como (1990), a

    Conference on Category Theory will be held in Hotel Tivoli Almansor

    (http://www.algarvetivolialmansor.com/), Carvoeiro, a village near the sea

    in the region of Algarve (south of Portugal), from June 17 until June 23,

    2007. We will take this occasion to celebrate the 70th birthday of F.

    William Lawvere.

    The arrival day is Sunday June 17. The scientific programme will begin

    Monday morning, June 18, and will finish before lunch on Saturday June 23.

    The programme will consist of conferences delivered by invited speakers and

    contributed talks.
